Former Honesdale High School hoops standout Kristen Schmale is enjoying a solid season on the NCAA hardwood. A junior member of the Misericordia University women’s basketball team, Schmale is listed as a 5-11 center in the school’s Media Guide. Kristen has played in 20 of her team’s 25 games and is averaging 7.1 minutes oer outing. She has scored seven field goals and hauled down 30 rebounds. Next up for the Cougars is a Wednesday night home game against DeSales.
